This information is intended for parents of P6 and P7 pupils. The transfer process begins when your child enters P6 because this is when parents/children need to start to think about the secondary school theywish to attend. Pupils wishing to apply for grammar will be need to complete an application form for AQE/GL assessments from the May of P6 through to September of P7. All parents will be required to complete a transfer form in January of your child’s P7 year based on the choice of school you wish them to attend. Guidance and support will be provided by the P7 teachers at this time.
